UNIVERSITY COLLEGE LONDON

University College London, which operates as UCL, is a public research university in London, England. It is a member institution of the federal University of London, and is the second-largest university in the United Kingdom by total enrolment and the largest by postgraduate enrolment.

 UCL is a member of numerous academic organisations, including the Russell Group and the League of European Research Universities, and is part of UCL Partners, the world's largest academic health science centre. UCL is organised into 11 constituent faculties, within which there are over 100 departments, institutes and research centres. It is considered part of the "golden triangle" of research-intensive universities in southeast England. UCL has publishing and commercial activities including UCL Press, UCL Business and UCL Consultants.

 

UCL has many notable alumni, including the founder of Mauritius, the first Prime Minister of Japan, one of the co-discoverers of the structure of DNA, and Coldplay members. UCL academics discovered five of the naturally occurring noble gases, discovered hormones, invented the vacuum tube, and made several foundational advances in modern statistics. As of 2023, 30 Nobel Prize winners and three Fields medallists have been affiliated with UCL as alumni or academic staff.

UCL Innovation & Enterprise, founded in 2016, collaborates with a diverse range of stakeholders including UCL staff, students, businesses of all sizes, governmental bodies, NGOs, and the third sector. Its mission is to provide a comprehensive array of services, including Continuing Professional Development (CPD), executive training, and business technology consulting, among others. 


Furthermore, UCL Innovation & Enterprise plays a pivotal role in translating UCL's cutting-edge technological concepts into practical solutions that benefit society as a whole. THEME COURSES

Participating students will learn related knowledge such as finance, economics, organizational management, artificial intelligence, innovation and entrepreneurship, marketing, business data analysis, management and organizational dynamics.


  • Study the development of management and various subdivided professional research areas

  • Study management and organizational dynamics

  • Learn how to do “rapid prototyping”

  • Create for-profit businesses based on sustainable capitalist principles

  • The relationship between artificial intelligence and the Internet

  • Learn about the interplay between artificial intelligence and machine learning

  • Learn linear regression - the most basic machine learning algorithm

  • The concept of cost function and gradient descent algorithm

  • The impact of artificial intelligence on personalized customer experience

  • AI applications in business

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Basic formula:

1. Applicants must be over 18 years old before the summer programme starts;

2. There is no limit to the professional grade, and you are interested in artificial intelligence, innovation and entrepreneurship, marketing, management, etc.;


Language Requirements:

1. Have good English ability:

  •     IELTS total score is no less than 5.5 or equivalent; •

  •     TOEFL (IBT) total score is 80;

  •     CET-4 should not be less than 500, or CET-6 should not be less than 480; 

  •     If you have no language score or the language score is not up to standard, you can apply for a language interview.

2. Students pursuing higher education in English (undergraduate or postgraduate) are exempt from providing language certificates when applying for courses and scholarships.
